Woodsend Medical Centre is located in the heart of Corby and is now the town’s largest and most modern GP surgery, extended to include 10 fully air conditioned consulting rooms, 3 state of the art treatment rooms and a large airy entrance, reception and waiting area. The existing building has been given a face lift too with additional administration space, WC’s and 6 fully refurbished consulting rooms.

The project has taken just over a year to build and was delivered in phases maintaining full access to the existing building and adjoining pharmacy. We’re especially proud because with the exception of a small break we worked through the 1st lockdown in April 2020, embracing new ways of working to maintain a Covid safe construction site.

It’s our largest project to date with a project value of £1.9M and demonstrates our capability at this level.

This was the 2nd phase of construction work carried out by Lee Merrin and the 1st project for Elemental Build - we're extremely proud of this project - it's a great looking building and the attention to detail really comes through.  The extension that was constructed includes a new entrance area with check in facilities, 4 new consulting rooms, 2 treatment rooms and a clean and dirty utility room.

As with most projects in the GP healthcare sector there were logistical challenges to overcome and despite starting at the end of November 2017 and working through the worse winter in recent history the project was completed on time and in budget in May 2018.

Long Lane Surgery in Coalville was carried out under a Design and Build Contract for LSP Developments and completed in April 2017. This challenging project involved the construction of extensions to 3 sides of the building, most with restricted access. The works included significant structural remodelling and architectural refurbishment, it was carried out in 5 phases to maintain the normal operation of the building.

The Station Hotel is a well known landmark in the East Midlands area, this former coaching house turned pub and restaurant was converted into 3 beautiful houses with 3 new properties built alongside. This is a superb example of our complete building solution - providing everything from foundations to contemporary finishes.

The Carriagehall is part of the successful culinary chain run by The Perkins Family.  Lee Merrin had worked for the family previously providing professional services on their kitchen extension and re-fit.  This relationship developed and Lee secured the contract to build the Carriagehall project - an eclectic mixture of heritage and contemporary design.  It's proved to be a very successful wedding venue, well known across the East Midlands.
